3. Print sell-form in 2 exemplars (one for seller – one for Paratroc).
4. Bring your material or send it by post with the form
5. Pay by card deposit costs and control (if needed)
6. We call you or send an email when we receive your equipment (we confirm price after check).
7. We sell your equipment as fast as possible
8. We pay you the product by bank transfer (or cash at Shop), sell-price minus our commission
 
If you sell your equipment yourself, we take no commission
We set selling price according to model, wear and demand-offer for this kind of product.

Buy tax free

French taxes are 20% (except books = 5,5%)

Every citizen that lives outside UE, can decide to pay taxes in his own country (or in the country where he buys) : USA, Switzerland....

In order to sell ex-vat, we need to prove to the tax administration that the product has left UE

•We ship the product : the international shipping form prove that the product has left UE

•you buy in our shop : you receive a tax form to be scanned at Custom services office (système PABLO). We can check online if form is ok and refund you the VAT.

Be aware that you can only refund VAT on new products, not on second-hand ones.

If you live outside European Union, you can buy ex-vat (duty free). In our webshop, all prices include 20% french taxes.

If you want to calculate your price ex-vat : price vat included divided by 1.2


- On the webshop : 

Create and connect to you account on the webshop. If your delivery address is outside UE, prices will automatically be shown without taxes (ex VAT). You can order normally on the webshop.

- If you come to our shop in Doussard or shipped in EU before export :

you pay VAT INCLUDED and you receive a form that you have to scan at French customs office (at border or in a french airport).
We check online that you have done it correctlt and refund you VAT on your card or wire bank transfer (minus 20 euros administrative costs).

Be Aware - if you order on the website from abroad but you want to come and pick the goods at the shop - you must pay with VAT (our website is stupid and do not make difference where delivery is made) - Solution :

The company Paratroc was founded in 2005 and started to exchange used paragliding equipment. The company developed thanks to its profesional skills and its website.

Paratroc quickly started to sell new equipment aswell and ship worldwide.

What are the means of payment ?

On the webstore, you can pay with credit card or by bank wire transfer

- online secured payment (SSL safe payment by Credit Agricole). None of your bank information is on our website.

We receive money 3 days after your payment (in case we have to cancel part of your order – we can reduce payment not increase, of course)

- Bank to bank transfer : Your order is shipped when we have received money on our account. You receive our Iban once you have confirmed your order.

In the shop in Doussard, you can also pay cash :

- maximum 1.000€ for french residents

- maximum 15.000€ for foreigners

We do not accept Paypal payments :

- Paypal may be useful between private persons, but we are a famous and honest company, therfore , you do not need to have a double secured payment. In the other hand, our bank guarrantees your payment, so we do not need it neither.

- Paypal charges 3.5% on the bill. We prefer to give you more discount than to pay a Californian company for a useless service

Price for our services
Paratroc earns a commission when we sell the product.
When you leave the product at us, we set the selling price and the commission.
Usually, our commission is around 20% on paragliders and 30% on other products.
This commission includes our negociation with buyer (our final commission is often around 10-15%)
In case that the product is difficult to sell, we can lower the price for the seller up to 20% every year.
How to set the selling price of a wing ?
The price of a product depends on how old it is, how used, and supply-demand.
The value of a product may be different that the « real value » , i.e. A competition wing looses value very fast.
 
We have developped a Used paragliders price rating guide that you can use in order to have an idea of the commercial value of a used product. You can also ask us.
Why must my paraglider have been checked when Paratroc starts to sell it ?
Some pilots tell : i'm ok to havre it checked if a pilot is interested...
Paratroc has been selling hundreds of items per year for almost 15 years, we know that if your paraglider is not checked, we cannot sell easy and fast as usual.
When a pilot wants to buy a paraglider, one is checked , the other one not.... it is always easier and faster for him to choose the one already checked. More over, the control workshop may take weeks for checking the wing.
the seller needs to pay for the check when dropping the paraglider at Paratroc.
We accept control reports 3 months old, we make a porosity test on top
In a wing is not selling for 6 months for example, we guarrantee that it has not been flown since control and make a porosity test to prove it.
for almost new and demo paraglider, we have a complete visual test + a porosity test.

How can I be sure that the equipment is in good condition ?
First of all, we are profesional : we must guarrantee the condition. All dealers must take back the equipment if there is something wrong with it when you receive it. 
As the material is not ours (but to pilots), we don't have to cheat. A private pilot who absolutely wants to sell his « broken » wing can cheat you. 
Paratroc refuses 30% of the wings that pilots ask us to sell, we only keep the best ones.
We take time to advice you, in order to help you making the best choice.
 
For a new product, you need to send it back as new and in original packaging. For a used, it is more difficult, beacause it has already been used. You can send it back only in case of a defect.
 
is the website updated ? Is the product in stock ?
Our data base is real-time updated, that means that when we sell a product, it immediately disapears from the shop.
You might not buy some products because another pilot has booked it. 
 
All used equipment is in stock in our shop in Doussard (Lac d'Annecy). Some demos may not be in stock yet, ask us for availability and delivery.
